The District is pleased to announce that both the Collection System and the Clean Water Plant are determined to be fully functional as of March 1, 2012. Accordingly, the full rate of $55.02 per residence (more for certain commercial properties) is now being charged.
As of March 1, the Connection phase of the project commenced. Residential and commercial users have 6 months to connect to the system. Information regarding the Connection Process can be found:
1. On this website, by following the link below to the Connection Guidelines.
2. By discussing the process with a Contractor. A partial list of interested contractors is linked to this page.
3. By contacting the District's contracted Inspector, Josh Thomas, at 574-202-7051, or emailing him at jthomas@wightmanpetrie.com, or visiting with Josh during the hours of 8-10 AM, Monday through Friday, at his office trailer at the Marathon Food Mart on Hwy 23 in Koontz Lake.
Please contact the Inspector only with questions. Do not contact Territorial Engineering or Trustees with questions regarding the connection process. The District holds a monthly public meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at the Koontz Lake Association building at 6:30 Central Time, and questions may also be answered at that time.
