The project permitting process is underway!
Submittals to the following agencies have taken place:
The District Engineer is fully
engaged in dialogue with each reviewing agency, answering questions, providing information, etc., as part of this process. We
expect to have all permits in place within the next 60 days. Having these permits all in place is what will allow the District
to put the project to bid and begin construction after final approval by the funding agencies.
Easements
Discussions are ongoing with those landowners the KLRSD is requesting a small easement from for the construction and maintenance of a grinder pump. As a reminder, only those properties where an easement is being sought are receiving packets in the mail discussing the issue in detail.
These packets include at a minimum:
1-Cover letter
2-Copy of blank easement document (for review and possible execution)
3-Copy
of the land owner’s recorded deed for reference
4-Vicinity map of the subject property within the project
5-URA Brochure, “When a public
agency acquires your property”
